14 types of dramas during the holidays with children – Voormijnkleintje.nl

The holidays are just around the corner and for some, the holidays are already in full swing. Now I can come up with a lot of fun excursions to do during the holidays. Nice, cozy on the road with the kids. To a museum, to an amusement park, to a show. It all sounds great, and most of the time it’s great. But I do not want to wander around the forest, children (and parents) often make drama during these fun excursions. Why do you wonder? To this day, I still do not know why, but it happens.

Here are 14 types of dramas during excursions and trips with children.

1. I have to pee the NOW drama.
If you are near a toilet, they do not have to. But when they are not near a toilet, children should always pee. You are almost at the front of the queue at the cash register: ‘Mom, I have to pee now’. Are you just sitting in the car after a lot of trouble: ‘Mom I have to pee’. Are you about to miss your flight: ‘Mom I have to pee. Oh and I have to pee too! ‘.

2. It’s already drama.
About a quarter of an hour after departure, children are forced to ask if we are almost there. They just need to know. After hearing the question 300 times, you can not help but ask yourself ‘are we almost there yet?’

3. I’m The Hungry Drama.
Kids think mom is a candy machine or a wall of croquettes during a day out. The moment they feel hungry, they think they can get something out of it. But the moment you offer them something to eat, so be it. Well, then kids get hungry. And hungry children are a bit like the exorcist demonic exorcisms. Not very pretty.

4. I do not want my clothes on drama.
In the morning, your child should dress himself. But once you are on the road, it does not go well, it is too hot and everything has to be turned off. Once one has let go of the discussion and thinks ‘fine, but you pull yourself’, the real drama begins.

5. I want drama next to mom.
Three children and two hands. What a drama!

6. We’re making a family photo drama.
Try to make all your kids smile and look at the camera in the picture. When it finally succeeds, mom looks angrily the other way. It just can not be done.

7. The batteries are on drama.
This is drama for the road. When you still have an hour left before you reach your destination and the iPad battery only lasts another fifteen minutes. This is a drama for the parents. Do not make the mistake of starting the song ‘we are almost there’ at that moment. I repeat, do not!

8. She got such a more drama.
Count and adjust all sewing at home precisely. This prevents a BIG, BIG drama about such a more or less.

9. I did not know that this was a museum drama.
You just used a god power on the entrance to get in. Once inside, it’s not quite what the kids expected. Looking at the historical dinosaur bones was not their intention, they expected to see real dinosaurs. You will also completely miss the historic dinosaur bones, all you will see is a child having a nervous breakdown.

10. I’m not going to eat that drama.
Suddenly, they can appreciate mom’s cooking when they see the culinary delights of another country. The question of whether one can take over the kitchen for a while is therefore not surprising in the eyes of children. But when you come up with the answer ‘Mom does not cook during the holidays’, the drama begins.

11. The drama I can not sleep here.
Since I can even take a powernap on the toilet, I do not understand why children make so much trouble sleeping in another bed. A bed of course! No, you do not have to sleep on a hay bale or a curb. A bed! You get a bed. Do not make such a drama out of it and go to bed.

12. We are through the car game drama.
Autobingo is full. The square eyes are a fact. The nursery rhymes come out of your nose. And we are not there yet. Let the drama begin.

13. The weather forecast is bad drama.
Okay, this one might not even be the big drama for the kids. But for mom on the other hand, yes. Depression strikes when you see a cloud of rain appear on your weather app in the coming days.

14. Purchase of a souvenir drama.
Children will always want to buy a souvenir. Or mine buy just sick, it is also possible. In the end, buying a souvenir takes even longer than the day itself. And you guessed it, when a little time pressure is put on, the drama begins.

And after all, the drama is nothing more fun than spending the holidays with the love of your life.
