The TENTAL facade was created to offer architects and facade consultants different solutions, while at the same time giving maximum creative freedom when designing a facade. TENTAL is a unique system with aluminum profiles of 50 mm and 60 mm width and can be used to design modern modular facades with large windows. The goal is to achieve maximum transparency with as little visibility as possible to the profiles. The Tental 60 module can integrate panels weighing up to 850 kg and with a surface area of ​​more than 12 m², depending on the type of glass used.

More options, colors and finishes

TENTAL offers a wide range of aesthetic solutions and meets the specific requirements of each project: from the cover design to the semi-cover design, which emphasizes the horizontal lines of the rails or the vertical lines of the posts, to the flat cover, which creates a smooth appearance of the profiles and the pane. A wide variety of designs are available for these configurations. Finishing with structural silicone glazing is also possible, to create completely flat facade systems without visible profiles from the outside. There is also the GF finish, where the glass is fixed using aluminum glass strips that form a visible frame. This can also be used for sloping glass roofs. In addition, all profiles can be customized in different colors and textures: from metallic shades to a wide range of lacquers, anodized satin finish. The modules can integrate double or triple glazing up to a maximum thickness of 62 mm, resulting in excellent thermal, acoustic and waterproof performance (up to 1,500 Pa), which in turn ensures high indoor comfort. This facade system is compatible with a wide range of windows, doors and sliding doors. Security is guaranteed with burglary resistance that meets the highest standards, in accordance with international regulations.

Less energy consumption

Solar shading systems can be integrated into the facade, which, together with reduced heat transfer, facilitates the architect’s work when designing energy-efficient buildings. However, it is not only the energy in the building’s operating phase that is reduced. The energy trapped in the aluminum facade is also significantly lower because the profiles are made of HYDRO CIRCAL 75R, the first certified recycled post-consumer aluminum. The energy required to melt post-consumer aluminum is 95% lower than primary aluminum obtained from bauxite mining.

Less waste

By using HYDRO CIRCAL 75R, premium quality aluminum made with a minimum of 75% recycled aluminum (post-consumer scrap), tons of scrap that would otherwise become solid waste can be reintroduced into the system. By using a line-to-line connection, the number of required profiles is reduced by up to 25%. In addition, TENTAL’s thermal break is made from recycled xPET, a material that gives new life to water and beverage bottles, preventing them from ending up in landfills or the ocean. Finally, the circular economy applies not only to the materials used to make the facade, but also to its design: all parts can be easily assembled and disassembled mechanically, simplifying their disassembly and recycling when on the move. cycle. This ability to recycle materials and other factors, such as the purity of the components and the efficient use of water and renewable energy in the production phase, means that TENTAL is currently undergoing the Cradle to Cradle certification process.

Smaller CO2 footprint

The greenhouse gas emissions from the production of TENTAL are among the lowest that the construction industry can offer for an aluminum facade. This effectively contributes to the construction of sustainable buildings that qualify for the most prestigious environmental certifications such as LEED, BREAM, WELL, VERDE and LEVEL(s). Again, the use of HYDRO CIRCAL 75R is essential, as it emits only 2.3 kg of CO2 per kg aluminium, compared to a global average of 18 kg CO2 per kg aluminum. This data is certified by independent bodies and is available to professionals on request through EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations).
