With the opening of Hotel The Den, Den Bosch has gained a new hotspot. With 160 rooms, The Den, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is now the city’s largest hotel. Hotel The Den is a Marriott International franchise and is operated by the Odyssey Hotel Group.
Ode to Den Bosch
Hotel The Den is distinguished by a modern, stylish design that reflects the city’s historic water channels. In addition to the water map of the city’s rivers (Binnendieze) in the logo, you see organic shapes and flowing lines everywhere in the hotel.
The hotel is located in the newest popular district ‘Het Paleiskwartier’ and connected by the pedestrian bridge ‘De Paleisbrug’. Guests can walk directly into the city center. The name Hotel The Den is an ode to the town of Den Bosch. “Hotel The Den unites local culture and international charm”, says Melle van Uden, General Manager. “We want to honor the historic walled city and embrace the local Burgundian way of life. In addition, we want to introduce a new concept to Den Bosch, something modern and global that attracts international travelers to this attractive city.”
The lifestyle hotel offers stylish rooms, quirky meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art gym ‘The Movement’ and two lively restaurants and three bustling bars. Especially ‘Current Rooftop Restaurant & Bar’, a rooftop restaurant and separate skybar on the 9the floor. An absolutely new highlight for the city of Den Bosch.
Silestone from Cosentino shines in the bar
The interior and furniture designers from HIP Studio and HomrisB8 deliberately chose a marble-look design for the bar. Besides the choice for a beautiful and trendy look, Silestone by Cosentino was also chosen for its high quality. A hotel bar is used intensively and the counter must therefore meet the highest quality requirements. Silestone from Cosentino offers unique technical properties such as high resistance and hardness, easy daily maintenance, high color consistency and unrivaled beauty.
Water as base
The design of the hotel and the choice of patterns all coincide with the theme of water. It is a direct connection to the water system that Den Bosch is known for. The hotel’s design and interior have been created through a good collaboration between property owner Build to Built, HDVL Designmakers, HIP Studio and HomrisB8. Everywhere in the hotel you can see the flowing lines and organic shapes of the water. As in the foil on the windows and in the beautiful color choices in blue and green tones. Both in the public areas and in the stylish rooms and suites, the colors and shapes fit together seamlessly.
The Den is equipped with the highest quality finishes and high quality materials down to the last detail. For example, the high-quality material from Cosentino was chosen. In addition to choosing Cosentino for the bar, Silestone by Cosentino was also chosen for the luxurious bathrooms and public toilets. In addition, the reception was completed in Dekton by Cosentino, in the color Domoos.
The lifestyle hotel offers stylish hotel rooms. The modern rooms offer an oasis of comfort with king-size beds, mobile key access and an interactive TV. The beautiful green and blue color palette reflects the water theme that flows throughout the hotel. The bathrooms are fully equipped with high-quality sanitary ware from Duravit in combination with the Silestone by Cosentino washbasins, in the color Silestone Charcoal Soapstone. For more space and the very best view, stay in one of the junior suites at the corner of the hotel, with large windows overlooking the nature reserve ‘Bossche Broek’ and the city.
