Third season of Emily in Paris ended up with one great cliffhanger. Because wow, a lot happened in the last five minutes. We weren’t the only ones shocked by the cliffhanger. The crew has something to say about it too.
Just as we like Emily in Paris used to, the series always looks good. But the last few minutes of the last episode had us on the edge of our seats. camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) almost swapped their’I doduring their engagement party, but Camille (who had also hit it off with Sofia (Melia Kreiling) broke it off. This because she could no longer refuse her soon man has feelings for Emily (Lilly Collins) who now had a permanent relationship with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). But because Alfie didn’t want to be second choice, he broke off the relationship On-site of. Oh, and then came the one revelation where Gabriel shares with Emily that Camille is pregnant. Yep, and all this in the last five minutes of episode ten of Emily in Paris.
“I heard all the endings and thought they were alternate endings,” Lily says of the script Entertainment tonight. “Then I realized they were all endings at the same time (…) I was really like ‘What the hell? What?!’ Lucas Bravo also thought the ending was quite a bit. The actor described the finale as “a big firework display‘.
Why did Camille call off the wedding?
Creator Darren Starr told to deadline more about the wedding, especially Camille’s decision to call it off. “I think at the end of the day, she’s someone who never wants to manipulate anyone in the marriage.” So many things happened when Camille and Gabriel faced each other at the altar: her pact with Emily not to get involved with Gabriel, for example. “Camille knew that Gabriel and Emily had something that she never had with Gabriel.” But she was also against the idea that she was living her mother’s dream. “She wanted to follow her own heart and have her own life.”
Is Camille really pregnant?
Gabriel may have shared with Emily that Camille is pregnant, but we can’t be the only ones wondering if it’s really true? Unfortunately, we will have to wait and see if the French is actually pregnant. But Camille Razat already shared that she is not very excited about a possible bump. For example, she told ET that she hopes she won’t have to wear the bump for too long. She also finds the idea of having to work with a baby exciting. “I once had a shoot with a baby and it was difficult and stressful. I’m always afraid of hurting the baby,” she said. “I can’t handle babies. I love them, but I don’t know how to do it.”
It’s also questionable whether the baby will be born in season 4. “We’ve now had three seasons over a period of about six months,” explains Darren Star. “So I don’t know if we’re going to see a baby in season 4.”
Is there a romantic future for Emily and Gabriel?
Whether Emily and Gabriel will have a relationship is of course one of the pressing questions, but it won’t be easy by any means. “They’re star-crossed lovers,” Star said. “Emily and Gabriel are in a complicated situation. These people really have feelings for more than one person, and they’re real feelings, but it’s complicated.”
What about Alfie?
Alfie has also become a crowd favourite. But if he and Emily will ever get back together, Lily also has doubts. “Emily had to fight to win Alfie back so I don’t think it’s going to happen again,” she shared ONE. “Emily doesn’t know how Alfie feels about it and she doesn’t know how Gabriel feels about it either. He and Emily have shared their feelings, but a baby is on the way.”
Star also suspects that there is no future between Alfie and Emily. “I don’t think he wants to stay in the picture romantically,” he said deadline. “I don’t think Alfie will be written out of the show. He definitely has a reason to be in Paris and he’s working with Gabriel. I think all the characters are still connected, but in a complicated way.”
