Print and sign company Fast Copy takes over Bold from Oudenaarde – Graphic News

Fast Copy in Beveren-Waas is mainly active as a printing and sign company in East Flanders and the Antwerp region. With the takeover of sector colleague Vetdruk from Oudenaarde, the province of West Flanders can also be better served.

Bold, located in Oudenaarde, has been active as a signing company for ten years. “They stand out as a creative and professional player in the sector and that’s how they got on our radar,” says Bert Devos, Fast Copy’s manager. “They are responsible for the design, production and installation of the projects they undertake.” This ranges from car lettering and car wraps over window decals to full signage in buildings. Bold has its own machinery and can offer both foils and panels.

Production and installation

“Our customers count on us as a one-stop-shop supplier,” explains Vincent Vanmansart, who is responsible for production at Vetdruk. “We work with design agencies or create the design ourselves, after which we produce it as efficiently as possible on the right carriers. After that, we also take care of the assembly.”

“This acquisition is a logical and complementary choice for Fast Copy,” says Bert Devos. “I am glad that the business managers have decided to cooperate with us. We are always looking for skilled and experienced signing specialists. They have everything: while Vincent masters his machines like no one else, John Malfroid is an expert in gluing all kinds of materials on all kinds of carriers.”

Geographically complementary

The two companies are also geographically complementary. “We get more and more orders in East and West Flanders, while travel costs and driving times only increase. In this way, we have another leg with which we can serve the western part of the country more easily and quickly.” says Bert Devos.

Bold will move to a new and larger building in Deinze as soon as possible. “Together with Bold, we are already busy procuring additional machines to expand capacity. The new operating unit should be up and running by the end of the first quarter of 2023,” says Devos.
